New Store at ETSY . . .

Things have been a little quiet at my Madeit store lately so have decided to branch out and see how an ETSY store will go.

The market last night was great - lots of gorgeous handmade goodies and a great crowd over the 2 and a half hours that it ran for. I had a great response with lots of new and returning customers and a few custom requests for skirts and dresses which is fantastic! Also a lot of comments from people wanting to wait til summer to buy the skirts and dresses and hoping that I will still be around selling them - the answer - yes I will!

I love to sew and create and can let you in on a little secret - stay tuned for some more gorgeous little dresses and skirts in some new designs and styles in the months to come!

I received a new haul of fabric this morning, better late than never - so after a quick wash and dry on the line this afternoon I have whipped up a few new skirts for tomorrow nights market.

Hopefully I can get in some more done sewing tonight and tomorrow morning, I have lots of lovely new designs that are going to look just gorgeous as little skirts and dresses!

Next Market - Friday 12th June 2009

Just a quick post to let you all know of a night market this coming Friday night - 12th June 2009. It is at the Irymple Leisure Centre and will run from 6.30pm - 9.00pm as a fundraiser for the Irymple Kindergarten. There will be 40 + stalls selling all sorts of products so come along for a visit!

I am waiting on some new fabric that I hope will be here tomorrow - lots of new exciting designs and gorgeous colours - hopefully I can get some more skirts and dresses made up in time for Friday night! I sold a lot of the bigger sized skirts and dresses at Saturday's market which was great - and I received lots of lovely comments about my products which is very much appreciated : )
